The Sabinal Birdhouse is finally open! See the natural habitat of birds, butterflies and wildlife, located within minutes of Sabinal, Texas. Site consists of 302 acres of ranch property of which 35 acres are developed into walking trails through brushy pasturage overlooking scenic river bottom. Bicycle Classic - Annual event. Held in October 800-210-0380. Texas Hill Country River Region Bicycle Classic is produced each October by the Texas Hill Country River Region, which serves as the Uvalde County Convention and Visitors Bureau. Our local roads experienced the bright, festive colors of some thing other than fall wild flowers and butterflies when over 350 registered enthusiastic cyclists were pedaling courses of varying difficulty around scenic Hill Country of Uvalde County: Concan, Leakey, Utopia and Vanderpool.
